HOW DOES LASER HAIR REMOVAL WORK?

Lasers have been used for many years in a variety of medical procedures. Now they are being used for hair removal. The lasers target pigmentation in the hair called melanin. Precisely controlled laser energy passes through the skin and is absorbed by melanin in the hair shaft. Once the hair follicle is disabled, it won't ever grow hair again. It's critical to catch the hair during the "anagen" part of the growth cycle, because that's when the hair contains an abundance of melanin. Hair must have color - melanin - to work the laser. HOW DOES ELECTROLYSIS WORK?
